Central Street Apartments Opens Doors to Low- & Middle-Income Families, Transition Aged Youths & Homeownership in Rhode Island

Now officially open, Central Street Apartments in Central Falls, Rhode Island offers:

  • 62 affordable homes (30 new + 32 rehab) to households earning 30%-100% of the Area Median Income (AMI)

  • 14 units reserved for youth exiting foster care

  • A Homeownership and Financial Education Center

Developed by Pawtucket Central Falls Development Corporation (PCFDC), Central Street Apartments covers 12 locations in Central Falls and Pawtucket near the scenic Blackstone River, commercial corridors, transportation, and the Blackstone Valley Bikeway. This affordable housing developments approaches the housing crisis at multiple angles: affordable rents in high quality homes, a foundation for transition aged youths (TAY), and a resource center for financial and homebuyer education with connections to affordable homeownership opportunities.
