Congratulations to our partners at True Ground Housing Partners on the official groundbreaking of The Sweeney in Arlington, Virginia!
This affordable housing development will create 432 units meant to serve those making between 30-80% of the Area Median Income (AMI), with 59 three-bedroom units, 147 two-bedroom units, 161 one-bedroom units, and 65 studio units. The Sweeney was created to bring housing for a range of income levels into an amenity rich neighborhood, providing all the essentials that every family needs to reach their full potential. To aid in this mission, they have created several amenities including a public park, fitness center, an indoor and outdoor play space, a Telehealth center, and a total of 198 bike parking spaces, as well as having an EarthCraft Gold Certification to ensure the usage of efficient and clean energy.
