Howard Sereda

Howard Sereda serves as the National Equity Fund, Inc. senior vice president of capital markets. Combining his economic and real estate background (in particular affordable housing), Sereda co-manages investor relations, which raises equity for NEF's projects, and provides fund management services to NEF's investors.

Prior to joining NEF in 2010, Sereda was a managing director with Centerline Capital Group in New York, where he was engaged in managing the group's LIHTC equity and debt portfolios.

Earlier, he had served as a senior investment officer and vice president with Citibank's Community Development group and a senior account executive with Fannie Mae. He had been the executive director of Moorestown Ecumenical Neighborhood Development (MEND), a non-profit housing developer and property manager in New Jersey. He began his real estate career as a construction lender with the Real Estate Group at Chemical Bank.

Howard has a BA from Oxford University, and a Master in Public Affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School of Princeton University.
