Supportive Housing: Persons Living with HIV/AIDS
Combining HUD 811 and LIHTC
Genesee Housing in Seattle was the first project in the country to successfully combine
funding from the HUD 811 program and the LIHTC program. The 811 program, an offshoot of the HUD 202 program for elderly housing, is designed to provide housing for people with disabilities. The $9.1 project offers an extensive array of services and houses generously sized 50 one- and two-bedroom apartments.
