Extraordinary things happen when you have great partners
Since 1987, National Equity Fund® has invested more than $13 billion revitalizing neighborhoods,
fostering economic growth and creating affordable sustainable housing.

Preservation/Historic National Equity Fund’s focus on preservation began in the late 1980s with our strong support for inner-city rehabilitation efforts that helped revitalize neighborhoods and provided low-income renters with access to a decent home they could afford.

About Preservation/Historic Housing

National Equity Fund’s commitment today continues with our ongoing work to finance hundreds of new preservation and historic projects nationwide.

In addition to the impact on residents, these preservation projects also protect the character of communities. They transform deteriorating properties from eyesores to assets. They improve the streetscape and they protect the interest of firmly rooted residents.

Our preservation investments reflect the significant work that LISC, our parent company, does to both support predevelopment efforts and promote effective policy measures.
