New for 2009
NEF, Inc. has made several changes to the reporting requirements for partnerships for year-end 2009. Check the reporting requirements for each project on the Reporting Information page to ensure that each partnership is meeting their required reporting requirements.
NOTE: All projects are required to submit final audits, tax returns and CPA independence letters by February 28, 2010, unless approved for an audit waiver.
Draft audits and tax returns are only required for partnerships selected on the 2009 drafts required list. All required drafts are due to NEF by February 15, 2010.
Projects selected to provide analytical review support are required to submit the final audit, tax return, independence letter and supplementary documentation by February 28th, 2010.

Featured Project: Verne Barry Place
Verne Barry Place is a creative example of building preservation and adaptation in Grand Rapids, Mich., designed to meet the needs of some of the area’s lowest-income residents. NEF invested $13.5 million on behalf of eight investors to fund this impressive "green" development.
The 116-unit supportive housing project, developed by Dwelling Place, Inc., features seven commercial spaces and serves homeless residents, including veterans.
