Projects Selected for Analytical Review Support
As part of the NEF audit process, some partnerships will be selected for analytical review and will be required to submit additional documentation as part of the audit report submission. Please see the 2009 Analytical Review selections list (available December 15, 2009) to determine if additional documentation is required for each partnership.
The required supporting documents include:- Analytical analysis of income statement with explanation of material variances
- Signed management representation letter
- Summary of audit differences from CPA
- Completed overaudit questionnaire -- download instructions
- Other supporting information as deemed necessary by NEF
- CPA management/SAS 115 letter
All required supporting documentation is due to NEF by February 28, 2010.

Verne Barry Place is a creative example of building preservation and adaptation in Grand Rapids, Mich., designed to meet the needs of some of the area’s lowest-income residents. NEF invested $13.5 million on behalf of eight investors to fund this impressive "green" development.
The 116-unit supportive housing project, developed by Dwelling Place, Inc., features seven commercial spaces and serves homeless residents, including veterans.
