NEF's Southeast Team covers the coastal states running from Maryland down to Florida and over to Alabama. With a significant and growing portfolio throughout the region, NEF continues to partner with both nonprofit and for-profit developers pursuing quality housing. "These states have a wide diversity of affordable housing needs and an interesting mix of developers pursuing those projects," notes Julien Colvin, NEF vice president for the region. "Our projects range from suburban developments near Washington, D.C. to inner-city urban housing in Miami and scattered site single-family projects in many rural communities. It really illustrates the flexibility of the LIHTC and the importance of having an experienced syndicator as a partner."
